Job Posting for Speech Writer at Rividium Inc

  • Write and edit communication including speeches, talking points, brief slides, and remarks for use in presentations and other requirements.
  • Develop, research and provide written materials for a wide range of audiences and topics, mostly regarding DoD intelligence and security related topics.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to identify appropriate messaging for various speaking and engagement opportunities.
  • Translate the ideas, objectives, and leadership position and management philosophy into messaging that relates to the topic, speaker, and intended audience.
  • Prepare a variety of communication materials including white papers and program briefs.
  • Submit draft outlines, speeches and written documents to senior leadership for revisions and approval.
  • If required, schedule rehearsal sessions with the speaker and provide them with tips and advice.
  • Active/Current Top Secret Clearance/SCI
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/or experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of consulting experience for DoD and/or the IC.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Project (including EPM), SharePoint, and Visio.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Ability to think critically, creatively, and strategically, have excellent judgement, and be able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Professional Editing Certifications are perferred but not required.
  • Travel may be required on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.
