Spread the word about this article:
PowerPoint graphics are a great addition to all PowerPoint presentations no matter what the audience. A Powerpoint simply containing text and bullet points is not going to hold the attention, even with your hot topic content. You run the risk of being dry and dull, and simply put graphics are more visual and therefore more interesting. You know it too if you are happy with your material you feel better and more confident as a speaker. Double plus.
Of course, the quality of your PowerPoint Graphics is important, this isn’t just a case of adding visuals for visual’s sake. High quality, highly appropriate, thoughtful graphics will enhance any presentation and will be a vital tool in getting your message across, succinctly and memorably. Equally poor quality clip art type graphics, blurry, pointless, and inappropriate images may get you to remember as well, but probably not how you would wish.
So let’s look at some great keys ways you can impress with a presentation, it’s not hard but it is effective.

1. what is presentation clipart.
Presentation Clipart is a collection of media files including images, videos, audio, gifs, and animation files used in presentation softwares like PowerPoint, EdrawMax, and others. Some clipart is generally available in the software, while sometimes you need customized graphics; you can also import them into your presentation. A premium presentation software allows you to import spreadsheets, data, and other documents directly to your slides with a real-time update option.
2. Presentation Clipart Explained
2.1 student presentation clipart.
Students use presentation slides to present their work, projects, ideas, and research about a topic. Many factors are considered in the student presentation clipart . First of all, it should be relevant and very easy to understand. A student should not be explaining the clipart; rather, the clipart should support their presentation material. This is important because we have seen presenters being questioned about their graphics rather than the original idea.
Student presentation clipart can also add an aesthetic element to the presentation to keep the audience interested in the boring course material. Teachers usually use the power of pictures, charts, graphics, and animations to keep students engaged. Slide transitions and sound effects have also proved their worth in this regard.
Interactive presentations are created around the idea of learning in a facilitating environment without making extra efforts to hold audience's attention span. Engaging more senses means easy learning and more retention.
2.2 Business Presentation Clipart
Companies and organizations often use business presentation clipart for support in selling an idea or product. The human resource department uses these graphics in the presentations for training the employees or for motivating them. Usually, the motivation presentations start with a story and take along the audience with the storyline by using presentation clipart and animations.
In business presentations, connecting different ideas is a critical factor. Using only text and boring plane slideshow may lose the interest and engagement from the audience. Using business presentation clipart may help them make powerful and memorable mental pictures of the ideas and connect them virtually.
2.3 Powerpoint Presentation Clipart
Powerpoint presentations provide a basic foundation for learning graphics and presentation dynamics. It is easy and helps beginners to learn about the important presentation basics. Once they know the ins and outs of inserting and sizing images, text, and PowerPoint presentation clipart , they are ready to transition to more advanced tools and softwares.
Powerpoint presentation clipart is also used for introducing visual aids during a presentation to increase its impact. The text quality slides layout, graphics PowerPoint presentation clipart, and colorful elements along with the presenter's body language add up to make a presentation stand out.
We should also mention that the effectiveness of the Powerpoint presentation clipart depends on its relevance to the presented information. You should try to make them a tool to get the point across and focus on key information.
2.4 Group Presentation Clipart
Every group is unique, but while making a presentation, certain guidelines help every group nevertheless. Keeping everyone engaged and connected in the process is important in every situation. Secondly, dividing the responsibility and everyone's contribution to the project is equally important.
As a group, ensure that everyone agrees on the purpose of the presentation and the theme of the presentation. The theme will be followed in layout, text formatting, language, and group presentation clipart .
2.5 Presentation Clipart Black and White
Presentation clipart black and white is preferable in a certain situation where other colors can distract the audience. For example, you may want to use a black and white presentation when presenting numbers and statistics. Black and white have psychological undertones because of their neutrality.
2.6 Presentation Icons
One of the primary reasons for using presentation icons is that they are more intuitive. Presentation icons replace words and text to represent ideas and actions. Presentation clipart must evoke the meaning for the user without much explanation. Colors also play an essential role in any design, and the colors should blend in with the overall design. Presentation icons should be simple and should not be stuffed in the slides to avoid presentation clutter.
3. Tips for Using Presentation Clipart
EdrawMax Online is a premium drawing software that supports more than 280 types of diagrams and drawings. Interestingly, you can present your drawing drawings directly from the EdrawMax layout without switching to Powerpoint. You can import different drawings, infographics, visual elements, data charts, and others into the presentation slides right away with a click. You can also find presentation clipart and presentation icons in the libraries. You can use the drag and drop layout to add different elements to your infographics concept.

See how simple it is? Now let us show you some other cool features for using Clip Art in your presentations and wowing your audience.

Step-2: Click on the “Online Pictures” option
The next step is to click on the “Pictures” option from the “Images” group of the “Insert” tab. In the dropdown menu under the “Pictures” option, click on the “Online Pictures” option.

Step-5: Click on the “Insert” button
The final step is to select one or more cliparts from the “Online Pictures” dialog box to insert into the slide. Then all you have to do is click on the “Insert” button at the bottom of the dialog box.
1.2 Method 2 – Using the Pickit Add-in
Using Add-ins in PowerPoint is a great way to get features that are not available in PowerPoint by default. The “Pickit” add-in includes thousands of graphics for your PowerPoint presentation that you can access with a monthly subscription.

How to Use Clipart to Enhance Your Presentations
When it comes to creating an impactful presentation, the visuals are just as important as the content. Effective use of clipart can transform an otherwise dull presentation into a dynamic and engaging experience for your audience. Whether you’re presenting to colleagues, clients, or a classroom, integrating clipart in a strategic and purposeful way can help convey your message more clearly and keep your audience engaged. This guide explores how you can enhance your next presentation using clipart, focusing on infographics , comic clipart for entertainment, directional clipart for navigation, and clipart that expresses emotions.
1. Infographics: Simplifying Complex Information
One of the most effective ways to convey data or complex information is through infographics . Infographics combine visuals and text to make information easier to digest. Clipart can play a key role in crafting visually appealing infographics , helping you break down complex concepts into bite-sized, visually engaging content.
For instance, when explaining statistics or data trends, you can incorporate clipart of charts, graphs, or icons that align with the data being presented. If your presentation is about environmental impact , you might include clipart of trees, water droplets, or recycling symbols within the infographic to visually reinforce your points. The combination of informative text and relevant visual elements ensures that your message is clear and memorable.
Clipart can also be used to build infographics from scratch. Clipart libraries typically include various icons and elements like arrows, shapes, and symbols that can be pieced together into custom infographics . This approach gives you full control over how your data is represented, allowing you to create visuals that perfectly match your presentation’s theme and color scheme.
Tips for Using Clipart in Infographics:
- Stick to a consistent style: Choose clipart that shares a similar aesthetic to maintain visual harmony.
- Use icons to represent key points: Pair short, punchy text with relevant clipart icons to drive home the main message.
- Avoid clutter: Focus on highlighting only the most critical information to keep your infographics clean and easy to follow.
2. Comic Clipart: Entertaining and Engaging Your Audience
Incorporating humor into your presentation is a powerful way to capture your audience’s attention and keep them interested. Comic-style clipart can be a fantastic tool to achieve this, especially in more informal presentations or when you want to lighten the mood during a serious discussion.
Comic clipart includes elements like expressive characters, speech bubbles, and exaggerated illustrations that add a playful tone to your slides. For example, a lighthearted character giving a thumbs-up can be used to emphasize positive outcomes or successful milestones. A surprised or puzzled cartoon character can humorously illustrate potential challenges or common mistakes.
Comic clipart works particularly well when telling a story or walking your audience through a scenario. By using cartoon characters that interact with your content, you create a narrative that draws your audience in. This technique is especially effective for training presentations, where adding humor can make learning more enjoyable.
Tips for Using Comic Clipart:
- Match the humor to your audience: Consider your audience’s preferences and the formality of the occasion when choosing comic elements.
- Use sparingly: While comic clipart can be fun, overusing it can detract from your key message. Balance humor with professionalism.
- Create consistency: Reuse the same characters or styles throughout your presentation to establish a narrative thread.
3. Directional Clipart: Guiding Your Audience Through the Content
One often overlooked aspect of presentations is ensuring that your audience can easily follow your narrative flow. Directional clipart , such as arrows, pathways, and symbols, plays a critical role in guiding your audience’s attention and helping them understand the structure of your content.
Directional clipart is especially useful for illustrating processes, timelines, or sequences. For example, if you’re presenting a project timeline, using arrow clipart can visually connect each milestone, making the flow of events clear and logical. Similarly, when presenting a multi-step process, clipart icons of footsteps or pathway lines can guide the viewer from one step to the next.
Another great use of directional clipart is in navigation cues, such as “Next Slide” or “Start Here” indicators. These elements are particularly handy in interactive or nonlinear presentations where the audience can choose different paths through the content.
Tips for Using Directional Clipart:
- Be clear and intentional: Ensure that the direction indicated by your clipart aligns with the message you’re conveying.
- Use arrows to emphasize key points: An arrow pointing toward an important statistic or quote can help draw attention to critical information.
- Avoid over-complication: Directional clipart should simplify the structure, not confuse it. Stick to simple, clear designs.
4. Clipart That Shows Emotions: Connecting on a Human Level
Presentations are more than just delivering information—they’re about connecting with your audience on a human level. Clipart that depicts emotions , such as joy, surprise, frustration, or determination, can help you convey the right tone and engage your audience’s empathy.
For example, if you’re discussing customer satisfaction, using clipart of smiling faces or celebratory figures can reinforce positive feedback. On the other hand, when addressing challenges or obstacles, using clipart of worried or puzzled expressions helps communicate the emotional weight of the situation.
Emotionally resonant clipart is also an excellent tool for storytelling. You can use it to humanize data, putting a face to the numbers or illustrating how a particular situation impacts real people. This technique is particularly effective in persuasive presentations, where you’re aiming to inspire action or drive home the significance of an issue.
Tips for Using Emotional Clipart:
- Align emotions with your message: Make sure the emotions expressed by your clipart match the sentiment of the content being presented.
- Use diversity : Incorporate clipart that represents diverse characters and experiences to connect with a broader audience.
- Don’t overdo it: Emotive clipart should enhance your message, not overshadow it. Use it strategically to emphasize key moments.
Clipart is a versatile and powerful tool that, when used thoughtfully, can significantly enhance your presentations. Whether you’re simplifying complex data with infographics , injecting humor with comic clipart , guiding your audience with directional icons , or connecting emotionally with expressive visuals , clipart can elevate your content and make your message more engaging and impactful.
By integrating clipart into your presentations, you not only capture attention but also communicate more effectively, making your ideas more memorable and your overall delivery more polished. Next time you’re preparing a presentation, explore the creative potential of clipart and see how it can bring your content to life.

Democrat demands Secret Service testify over second Trump assassination attempt
by JACKSON WALKER | The National Desk
WASHINGTON (TND) — Rep. Ro Khanna, D- Calif., on Sunday demanded the Secret Service return to Congress to testify over the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, calling the incident “unacceptable.”
Secret Service agents fired between four and six rounds at a suspected gunman Sunday at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. Trump, who was golfing at the time, was unharmed in the incident, telling supporters in an email “I will NEVER SURRENDER!”
The assassination attempt came two months after Trump was shot in the ear at a Pennsylvania campaign rally, where a gunman killed one attendee and injured three others.
Rep. Khanna, who sits on the House Oversight Committee, issued a demand on social media for testimony and a vote on the House floor to expand the agency's resources.
“Two assassination attempts in 60 days on a former President & the Republican nominee is unacceptable,” he wrote. “The Secret Service must come to Congress tomorrow, tell us what resources are needed to expand the protective perimeter, & lets allocate it in a bipartisan vote the same day.”
The post earned the attention of X owner Elon Musk, who replied “crazy.”
The representative also shared he was thankful Trump escaped the incident unscathed, writing “I am relieved that President Trump and those that were with him are safe.”
“This is a deeply concerning time for our country, and I pray we can prevent this kind of violence and find ways to heal the divisions,” he added.
Rep. Khanna was among those who criticized former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle during her congressional testimony in July. That session preceded her decision to resign from her position.
“I just don't think this is partisan,” Rep. Khanna said during that hearing. “If you have an assassination attempt on a president, a former president or a candidate, you need to resign.”
